Ingrid Hornef develops her art intellectually and playfully. First, she establishes a system of six elements comprising lines, angles or surfaces. The painting ground is prepared and gridded. Then the cube decides. From thousands and thousands of possible arrangements, a unique work of art is created that she will – in all probability – never roll the dice again.

Die Wortspiele bestehen aus eingefärbten Zahnstochern, die wie Pixel auf digitalen Textanzeigen wirken. Die farbig hervorgehobenen Wortteile erscheinen als Warnungen, die sich aus der Wortgebung selbst ergeben.
